I AM NOTHING MORE THAN A STORY

I imagine you-

Telling tales, of you and me,

In a way that talks more about the pain of us, rather than the beauty.

I imagine you-

Telling our story,

Just from your side, but not from mine.

I imagine you –

Forgetting me, slowly but surely,

Reducing me to a tale, a story, a chapter

That eventually loses any form of value.
