I SEE YOU
I SEE YOU
I see a baby boy,
crying his heart out;
seeking attention.
I see a little boy,
getting jealous of his
new brother.
I see a little boy,
passionate about video games,
playing all day, all night,
forgetting about food or water.
I see a young boy,
taking the same passion,
transferring it to music.
I see a young boy,
learning many things through music –
the beauty of travel; the art of writing; life
I see a young boy,
falling in love,
giving everything he can to her.
I see a young boy,
questioning this love,
wondering if it’s the right thing for him.
I see a young man,
having the courage to have faith in this love;
even when the light at the end of the tunnel is fading;
even when the fire in his heart is nearly dying;
even when this mind says no.
I see a young man,
finally coming out of the tunnel,
with a smile on his face,
and his love holding his hand,
proud of the man he has become.
I see a man,
falling in love all over again with
the beauty of travel, the art of writing, life.
I see a man,
sharing his experiences,
giving everything he can to
his loves.
I see a family
with smiles on their faces.
I see a family
with fire burning in their heart.
I see a family
with light in their eyes.
I see you-
the boy you were;
the young man you are;
the man you will be.
