SIXTEEN MINUTES

I decided to take sixteen minutes

to try and pen down 16 facts

about you.

I thought about the way your hair falls down your face.

The way your smile sends chills to my stomach.

The feeling I get in my heart when I see you.

Then, I took a step back,

Realised that it didn’t matter if you had

cancer and lose all your hair.

I would still love you.

If you lost all your teeth due to a near fatal accident,

I would still give you my heart with no regrets.

Your kindness, Your presence is enough for me.

By the time my sixteen minutes are up,

I realise that 16 facts are not enough for you.

That’s why I’m gonna spend my whole life with you,

By your side,

Through thick or thin,

Even after death.

Nothing would tear us a part.

I loved you yesterday.

I love you now.

And

I’ll love you forever.
