WHEN THE STARS GO BLUE BY RYAN ADAMS

I am the type of person who does not dream of the perfect wedding day, unlike most girls. I do not care for the kind of dress I will be wearing neither do I care how big the wedding is or who I want to invite. In fact, to me, the perfect wedding would be if I could just elope with my partner. Marriage is between two people, and two people only so I never could understand why weddings are such a big affair.

But even though I don’t dream like most girls do, there is one thing that I do wish I could have, if that day ever comes. I wish that I could dance to this song. This is the perfect song for a wedding. From the first time I heard it, I just knew that I really wanted this song to be played at my wedding.

It has such a soothing tune plus really sweet lyrics.

When I listen to this part of the lyrics I feel that Ryan Adams is indirectly trying to remind us that when we promise to love someone, we should love them not only during the hard times but also during the hard times or sad times.

This song gives me such beautiful images, mainly images of having someone to love, images of achieving the kind of happiness that every single one of us wants out of life. The main image I have though, is dancing with the man I love, feeling as if I was the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, on our wedding day.  =)
