As the music fills my ears

with hope, dreams, love,

I long for understanding.

with truth and courage,

I long for understanding.

As the music fills my soul

with sympathy and empathy,

I long for understanding.

As the music fills my

ears, heart, soul –

I wonder if-

I’d ever be understood…
