THIS DARK HOLE

this place, so familiar
this darkness, so familiar
this void, so familiar.

I was here once,
so long ago, never thought I’d return,
but I did, and it feels like home.

this place, so familiar
this darkness, so familiar
this void, so familiar.

I was here alone,
looking for an escape, I found one,
and i never thought I would return.

this place, so familiar
this darkness, so familiar
this void, so familiar

there’s no way out, this time.
there’s no bright light, this time.
there’s no warm guiding hand, this time.

this darkness, so familiar,
so familiar, this void, almost comforting.
this place, no way out, this time.
